# General Ideas

The over-arching story could revolve around the buried ruins in Khepris itself.
As the party explores more, they come across barriers that require specific
components or relics to pass beyond. Their contacts in the new guild help them
discover leads, and sends them on adventures to get the stuff.

# War Machine
The party lands on an industrial planet in recession. The focus city is run by
business mobsters of the rich families. The government is corrupt, and the
people generally downtrodden. In the large lake and river system near the focus
city is an island with some ancient piping and cement work. Unbeknownst to most,
this island is actually the top of an ancient war machine, capable of excessive
violence and destruction.
One of the families learns of this, and is working to claim it. The government
catches wind, and is working to stop them but also claim it. A rogue group of
pirates and vagabonds seeks to destroy it completely. All need components from
the party's ship, and all seek to capture the party and force their way.
The party was dispatched to this planet to recover something valuable, that
turns out to be part of the power source for the war machine. As they approach
to land, their ship is immediately surrounded by government and regional police
ships. Upon landing, or escaping, they are set upon by the family and the
pirates, who end up also fighting each other, and then exclusively fighting each
other. The party can escape, but their ship is impounded and grounded through
physical and bureaucratic means. Eventually, they'll meet a guild contact, who
will fill in the details. The party can then choose who, if any, to support.

# Red Eye to Mega City 4
A post-nuclear planet with several massive mega-cities. Commerce via bullet
mag-trains between them is common, but pirates and raiders in the wastes are
more-so. A scientist working in a secret bio-facility on a parasitic organism
that effectively turns its hosts to vampires steals and sequesters samples to
one of the major raiding groups in the wastes. The organism multiplies and
infects the entire raider group, turning them into powerful creatures. They work
with the scientist to modify the organism such that the raider group is
considered the superior and leader members of the society, and the new strain
are like slaves to them. They capture a bunch of trains, infect the people, and
then send it towards one of the mega-cities to spread their new plague.
